EXTRUDER

The VBCC Piston Type Laboratory Extrusion Machine is a compact and versatile extrusion system designed for shaping ceramic bodies, advanced materials, metal powders, catalyst supports, refractory compositions, and other plasticized materials into continuous profiles through specially designed dies.

The machine operates on a piston-driven extrusion principle where prepared material is loaded into a stainless-steel barrel and compressed by a mechanically actuated piston. The material is then forced through a precision die opening, producing extruded rods, tubes, pellets, honeycombs, and customized profiles with excellent dimensional consistency.

The system is particularly suitable for research laboratories, ceramic industries, powder metallurgy applications, catalyst manufacturing, additive manufacturing feedstock preparation, and advanced materials development. Equipped with a variable-speed VFD-controlled drive system, the machine allows precise control over extrusion speed, ensuring repeatable processing conditions and high-quality extrudates.
