LOSS ON IGNITION (LOI) APPARATUS

The Microwave Loss on Ignition (LOI) Testing System is an advanced analytical equipment designed for rapid determination of loss on ignition in ceramic, mineral, and refractory raw materials. The system utilizes industrial-grade 2.45 GHz microwave heating technology to achieve significantly faster heating rates compared to conventional furnaces. Equipped with a 4.4 kW adjustable microwave power source, the unit ensures precise energy delivery for accurate and repeatable LOI measurements. A modified SiC susceptor heating arrangement provides uniform heat distribution and efficient thermal transfer to the test specimens. The Eurotherm PID temperature controller, combined with a non-contact infrared temperature measurement system, enables precise temperature monitoring and process control. The stainless steel chamber construction ensures durability and operational safety. Fast heating cycles reduce analysis time while minimizing energy consumption.
